Style: 05 Pale Bitter Euro Beer Type: Extract Beer
January Recipe of the Month. Named for the Cathedral in Koln and the beautiful square out front this is a slightly different take on Kolsch. Less hoppy with a kiss of wheat and the hops add a slightly tart spicy flavor.

.5 lbs Wheat Liquid Malt Extract
6 lbs Pilsner Liquid Malt Extract
Grain
1 lbs Carahell
Hops
1 oz Saphir (60 minutes)
1 oz Saphir (10 minutes)
Yeast German Ale (Wy 1007/2565) (WLP 036/029)
Steep grain for 20 minutes at 160 degrees.
